The Prevent Kit

  • The PREVENT Kit is a novel FDA cleared advanced NPWT dressing kit designed for use with CCT Mini or CCT1 drainage pumps. 

  • The PREVENT replaces traditional foam with an innovative flexible honeycomb polymer that optimizes fluid evacuation and wound visibility. 

  • The PREVENT Kit reduces dressing change time and labor costs, offering a superior alternative for wound care.

  • The PREVENT allows for lower vacuum pressures and intermittent suction through its superior flow characteristics. 

The PREVENT Optimal pump settings:

  • -50 to -80 mmHg on intermittent/cyclic suction. Reduced negative pressure is required due to superior flow properties.
  • Intermittent/cyclic suction (-20mmHg) allows tissue recovery and reperfusion below the dressing and skin edges.
